We have finalized our school budget for FY2017, as well as the reports for Town Meeting.  Our February newsletter includes the Annual Report.  I know the reports from the School Board Director and myself are long, but they are very informative, so please read them.  They are the same reports that will appear in the Town Meeting Report.  If you have questions, please of not hesitate to call me.

Due to a shortage of bus drivers, we have bus changes that start Monday, February 1, 2016.   On Thursday, letters with more specific information were sent home with children whose buses and whose pick up/drop off times will change.  In addition, teachers and drivers will be asked to review information with children that are affected.

Please remember, the PreK has no school this Friday, January 29, 2016, due to professional learning.  PreK teachers and para educators will be learning about the impact that Early Childhood Trauma has on learning.  Ms. Gordon, our Guidance Counselor, will be joining them.

4th Graders  will prepare our Farm to School Taste Test on Friday, January 29, 2016 at lunch time.  We will be tasting parsnip chips.

It’s been a long time coming, but on Monday, Feb. 1, we are starting single stream recycling in our school.  Teachers will be reviewing information with children.
