Upcoming Student-Led Conferences

A friendly reminder that Student-Led Conferences are happening next week, and sign-ups have been shared via ParentSquare. If you haven’t signed up yet, now’s the time!

These conferences are such a powerful opportunity for students to take ownership of their learning, celebrate their growth, and reflect on areas they’re still working on. When students have a chance to lead the conversation, it builds confidence, accountability, and pride in their progress—and we love seeing the joy they feel when you show up to support them!

And remember:
  • Your child doesn’t need you to be perfect—they just need you to be present.
  • Progress doesn’t always look like a straight line. Sometimes it’s a loop, a zigzag, or a full-on scribble. That’s still growth.

Spring Reminders: Fun, Focus & Finding Our Balance

Spring is in the air—and with it comes a whirlwind of special events, sunshine, and that unmistakable end-of-year energy! Between Field Day, the Book Fair, student-led conferences, and classroom celebrations, there’s a lot to look forward to.

At the same time, we’re still deep in the work of teaching, learning, and growing. This season is full of progress, but it’s also a time when students can feel a little wobbly with all the excitement.
Some helpful reminders as we find that balance together:
  • Routine is your best friend. Even as the calendar fills up, sticking to consistent sleep, meals, and screen-time habits helps students stay regulated and ready for school.
  • Joy + structure = magic. We want students to have fun and keep showing up as kind, safe, and engaged learners. You can help by reinforcing those expectations at home.
  • Pause to notice progress. Whether it’s a tough math skill or remembering to pack their own backpack, this is a great time of year to celebrate small wins.
  • Don’t forget to breathe. Deep breaths, early bedtimes, and a sense of humor go a long way—especially in May.

Don't forget

Dates to Remember

We’ve received word from the AOE, two days have been waived. That means our last day of school for students will be Monday, June 16.
