Treating Our Subs with Tiger Pride
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve received wonderful feedback from our substitute teachers—they love being here with your students! When teachers are out, substitutes help keep learning on track, and the way students respond makes all the difference. Families can help by reminding children of a few simple things on days when there’s a sub:
-
Be welcoming—a smile or friendly greeting goes a long way.
-
Show patience—subs may do things a little differently, and that’s okay.
-
Use ROAR expectations—respect, responsibility, and kindness matter no matter who is leading the class.
When substitutes feel supported, they’re eager to return, and our school benefits from having familiar, caring adults ready to step in whenever needed. Thanks for helping us keep the Tiger Pride strong!
