Ice Cream Social Celebration

Our Tigers really scooped up success this week! By earning 175 Mega-Paws schoolwide, students unlocked a well-deserved Ice Cream Social celebration—and it was sweet in every sense of the word. From smiles to sprinkles, this was a true reminder that when we work together and live our ROAR values, great things happen.

A special cherry-on-top shoutout goes to Mrs. McKenny, who along with an incredible team of volunteers, made the event absolutely magical. Thanks to their time, creativity, and generous hearts, everything ran smoothly and was served up with extra joy and yes… plenty of sprinkles!

Way to go, Tigers!

ROAR Reminder

As we head into MLK Jr. Day, our ROAR Reminder highlights how small actions can make a big difference. Dr. King believed in using our words and actions to build a better world, and our students practice this daily—by helping younger students, using respectful words, and making choices that strengthen our school community.
That’s ROAR in action!

Tigertastic Tips

With Monday off for MLK Jr. Day, consider turning the long weekend into a Family Kindness Moment. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. believed that everyone can serve—and even small acts can make a big difference.

Try one (or more!) together:
  • Write a thank-you note to a teacher, bus driver, or special helper
  • Help a neighbor shovel, carry groceries, or tidy up
  • Donate gently used books or toys
  • Invite your child to notice and name one kind act they see each day
These simple moments help children see that kindness isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we do. Small actions, big impact…that’s the Tiger way
