We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back on Wednesday after Town Meeting and the school budget vote. Thank you to those who participated and continue to support our school and community.

March 1 always feels like a quiet turning point; a fresh page, a little more daylight, and a reminder that spring (eventually!) finds us. With a short week ahead, we’ll focus on re-establishing routines, reconnecting, and jumping back into learning.

An informational meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Derby Elementary School.

The budget vote will take place Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the lower level of the Derby Municipal Building (124 Main Street, Derby Center).

After a break, one small reset goes a long way. A consistent bedtime Tuesday night, laying out clothes before bed, and a calm morning routine can make the return to school feel smooth and confident. Predictability = powerful for kids.
