Winter Activities Program

Derby Elementary's Winter Activities program is designed for students in grades 4, 5, and 6 and is an opportunity for students to participate in a variety of winter activities: downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and winter survival skills as well as a few indoor activities such as rock climbing, gymnastics, bowling, and drums alive.

Chaperones are needed to help at Jay Peak. Chaperones are adults who are willing and able to supervise a group of students on the mountain. Chaperone training dates are December 14 and January 5. If you would like to be a chaperone, contact Sherrie Gentry at sherrie.gentry@ncsuvt.org.
