Winter Activities Program
Derby Elementary's Winter Activities program is designed for students in grades 4, 5, and 6 and is an opportunity for students to participate in a variety of winter activities: downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and winter survival skills as well as a few indoor activities such as rock climbing, gymnastics, bowling, and drums alive.
IMPORTANT WAIVERS FOR SKIERS AND BOARDERS ONLY
If you are skiing or boarding at Jay Peak, your parent must complete the online waivers at https://bit.ly/2qdaKBK
If you are NOT renting equipment, you only need to complete the first waiver.
If you are chaperoning, you must complete the following waiver: https://bit.ly/2CFi2BB

Winter Activity Dates
Chaperones are needed to help at Jay Peak. Chaperones are adults who are willing and able to supervise a group of students on the mountain. Chaperone training dates are December 14 and January 5. If you would like to be a chaperone, contact Sherrie Gentry at firstname.lastname@example.org.
