Class Placement Process

 Placements into classrooms for the next school year are made by a team of school professionals (teachers, administrators, counselors) in an effort to create well-balanced classrooms.  This process ensures that we can continue to meet the needs of ALL children.  As always, our dedication to each child’s success is the priority.

 

The following factors are considered:

Academic strengths and needs of ALL children

Social strengths and needs of ALL children

Learning styles

Gender balance

Equal class sizes across the grade level

 

We value and will consider parent input – after all, who knows children best?  Parents wishing to provide input should complete and turn in a Parental Placement Information form to the office in April.
